Is oBot for BattleKnight free? New

Partly, yes. Free: missions with the place chosen by yield, work when mission points run out with pay collection, loot chest emptied into the bag, potions at low health, notification of duels received, the King’s laws, game mail reading, automatic re-entry from the lobby, Telegram notifications with the evening summary and log. Premium: attribute training, better equipment bought and worn, karma power always active, potion buying, target areas, duels and Challenge. Whoever installs the bot gets a 3-day trial with everything on.

Is oBot premium the game’s Premium account? New

No, they are two different things. oBot premium unlocks the bot’s premium features (training, karma, duels and Challenge, potions from the merchant, target areas) and is paid from the Premium tab of the panel, by card or PayPal. It applies to your BattleKnight oBot account: the other games have their own.

Which servers does it work on?

On the official BattleKnight servers (addresses *.battleknight.gameforge.com). The bot panel is in Italian on Italian servers and in English on the others.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox on a computer, with the Tampermonkey extension. On Chrome you need to turn on developer mode for extensions. Phone browsers are not supported.

Can I get banned?

Using any bot is against the BattleKnight rules, so there is always a risk and you use oBot at your own risk. The bot works in your browser, in your game session, one request at a time and respecting the waiting times, and only does what you could do by hand.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The first time you open the game with the script installed the bot creates your oBot account by itself, tied to your knight and your server.

Daily use

Does the bot work with the browser closed?

No. The bot lives inside the game tab: you need a BattleKnight tab open, even in the background.

The bot stopped for hours: why? New

Almost always because Chrome suspended the tab (Memory Saver and Energy Saver) or the PC went to sleep: a suspended page runs nothing. To avoid it: Chrome Settings → Performance → «Always keep these sites active» → add [*.]battleknight.gameforge.com; keep the game tab in a separate window and do not let the PC go to sleep. If instead the session expired, automatic re-entry takes care of it.

Why does the bot not go on missions?

Look at the «Right now» box in Home: it says whether the knight is returning to the village, whether health is below the minimum, whether mission points have run out or whether the knight is working. If the «Set up the bot» button is at the top of Home, automatic missions are off: switch them on and save.

Which mission size is best?

Leave the size on automatic: the bot picks the largest mission your points allow (large 60, medium 40, small 20), which pays more and costs less health per point. Except in places where that size often loses: after 3 defeats in a row it drops to a smaller one, or goes to the place that pays more, for 4 hours.

Does the bot stop with low health?

Yes, below the minimum health you chose it does not go on missions: it waits for health to regenerate and checks again every 15 minutes. With little health you lose fights.

Why does the knight go to work?

Because «Work when mission points run out» is on («Recommended settings» turns it on too). During work missions are paused; when the work is over the bot collects the pay and starts again. If you do not want it, turn the option off in the Work section and save.

Does automatic re-entry know my password?

No, the bot never saves the password. In the lobby it only presses «Play» on your knight, as long as you are logged in to your game account in the browser; if the lobby asks you to log in, that is up to you. At most 3 attempts per hour.

I have several BattleKnight tabs open: do they all work?

No, only one works: so the same mission never starts twice. If you close the working tab, another one takes its place.

If I reinstall the script, do I lose my settings?

No. Settings are stored on the oBot server, tied to your game account: you find them again after a reinstall or on another computer.

Why doesn’t the bot attack weaker knights? New

Because beating much weaker knights gives little silver and costs experience. The bot only challenges knights at least of your level minus one, and only if the stat comparison shows them 15% weaker than you; after a defeat, no rematch for 24 hours. Duels and Challenge are premium.

Why has the bot stopped duelling? New

If you lost more than half of your duels in the last 7 days (at least 3) the bot makes no duels until the losses leave that window: a lost duel costs silver and gives no experience. Missions and work go on as usual.

Does the bot spend rubies? New

No. Potions from the merchant and target areas are paid with silver only, never with rubies, and the bot never goes below the silver reserve you chose.

How does it choose the mission place? New

With the automatic place it tries every place of the zone 3 times, then goes where it pays best (silver per mission point, or experience per point if you set the Objective on experience, multiplied by the wins of the last 10 fights) and every now and then tries the others again. A place lost two times out of two is not tried again. The yield of each place is in the «Yield per place» table in Home.

Why does the bot not sign up for the Tournament?

It needs premium, level 8 and a lance: the bot buys one only if the weapon merchant sells a silver lance of your level and the silver reserve stays intact. Then it waits until the waiting list reaches at least half of the knights needed. What it is waiting for is shown in the Tournament box in Settings.

Can I use the bot in a language other than the server’s?

Yes: Settings → Alerts and login → Bot language. «Same as the server» goes back to the server language. It applies to the panel, the log and Telegram messages; today the bot speaks Italian and English.

The bot keeps losing against the same knight: what can I do?

Nothing: a knight who beat you stays out for at least 7 days and then until your level or theirs changes; after two defeats the bot never challenges them again. It reads defeats from the fight reports, including those from another computer.

Telegram

Can I use the same Telegram chat as the other games?

Yes. The BattleKnight token is different from those of the other games, but you can send them all to the same chat: you will receive the notifications of all of them.

I do not get the Telegram notifications

In the Telegram tab press «Check link» and then «Send a test message». If the message arrives, check in Settings, «Alerts and login» group, that the messages you want («Level up», «Daily summary on Telegram», «Telegram notification» for attacks received) are on and saved.
